Gingerbread Cookies
About four years ago I tore a Michael Mina gingerbread recipe out of a Food & Wine magazine and waited 2 years to make it. Yes, I have about 500 recipes in a box that look REALLY good, but I have yet to cook/bake the darn things. Well I dug the gingerbread recipe out last year and made it- 3 times! I am already baking my second double recipe of it this year! These cookies are DELICIOUS, fun and so easy to make. I usually bake the cookies and then ice and decorate them later with the kids. (I stress too much if I let the kids use the cookie cutters because rolling out the dough and getting it into the oven takes some finessing without the kids...with the kids it's a deathwish.)

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!
My mouth is watering! But no fair - you didn't post the recipe!
Tamara- it's via the link. Just made it again yesterday and decorated with the girls. So yummy and so much fun! Thinking about eating another one right now for lunch...
How in the world did I miss you post??? O_O
Especially with all these cookies over the pages? Like always, I find your pix wonderful. I'm in a bit of dilemma, though. Not knowing if I should be mad at you and grateful: I am now attacked by an irrepressible craving for ginger cookies! :D
Pixie, what did you do? *insert dramatic voice here*
Wow - simply divine - beautiful pic. I missed this post as well :( Isn't gingerbread a *&^% to make? A day before, then in the frig, then rolling, ugh. I am the opposite, I would much rather do dinner than bake!!
